This shoot was inspired by vintage pieces and how easily they can be transformed into any type of theme or setting. Vintage isn’t just the recent shabby chic and rustic craze we often see—it’s EVERYWHERE. The creation of this shoot started from the iron lanterns of a local vintage rental and styling company, Gold Dust Vintage‘s inventory that easily translated to the Eastern elements of an Indian inspired wedding. It is easy to fall in love with bold colors, layered textures, luxurious sparkle and amazing patterns that accompany a traditional Indian affair – from these inspirations came a shoot of East Meets West.

For the stationery, we were inspired by the bold patters, colors and glamorous aspects! We used a metallic sheen paper stock and numerous rhinestones to capture a lavish, luxe look. Saturated colors of magenta, orange and purple along with bold patterns created a modern Indian appeal. Gold textured envelope liners added an extra feel of elegance and dimension to the invitation. Pictured above is a scroll program on metallic stock and an invitation suite.
Coordinating menu and place cards in bold patterns and colors completed the table stationery.
Favors of elephant charms for good luck were adorned with metallic stock thank you tags.
